When registering be sure to schedule your choice of one (1) Keynote for each day that you are attending, and two (2) breakout sessionsfor a total of 5 hours of PD each day. Coffee, water, morning snacks and lunch are included!!!
This session will introduce basic, moderate, and advanced strategies that can reach across all curriculums to help strengthen your students' reading and writing abilities within your content. Focus will be on everyday routines and strategies that place the responsibility for learning on the students and push students to think and learn more deeply about the subject matter through an emphasis on literacy. Examples from every subject, blank templates, and other resources will be provided. Attendants should expect to learn about and practice these strategies during the session.
