Beyond Tens and Ones: Using Base 10 Blocks to Build Place Value Knowledge with Large and Small Numbers

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Base 10 Blocks are a staple in elementary math classrooms, but did you know that you can use them to explore numbers bigger than 1000 and smaller than 1? In this session, we will explore the use of Base 10 Blocks to deepen students' understanding of large numbers as well as decimals. Participants will engage in hands-on activities that they can take back to their classrooms. Come explore how you can use your Base 10 Blocks in new ways!
