When registering be sure to schedule your choice of one (1) Keynote for each day that you are attending, and two (2) breakout sessionsfor a total of 5 hours of PD each day. Standard II of the Teacher Evaluation Rubric encourages educators to "teach all students" through instruction, learning environment, cultural proficiency and expectations. Reaching diverse student needs, more specifically, specialized populations of students can be challenging. As teachers in low-incidence districts, English Learners (ELs) are a unique population. This workshop will help educators with ways to personalize instruction to meet the needs of their ELs by working smarter, not harder. You will leave with easy-to-implement strategies to personalize learning for these students as well as other strategies that will require some preparation. The purpose is to help teachers make the most of their time while creating the most meaningful learning experiences for their ELs.
